The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale

Went to the BBW sale last Saturday. The second day of the fair. Wanted to go on the first day itself, but K refuse to bring me on the first day. So off we went on the second day. My actual plan is to meet and lepak with my cousin who just got back for good from Cuba the last 3 weeks. She’s been busy the previous weekends. So we plan for meet up this weekend.Knowing how much she loves books, I asked her to join us to BBW sale. And she said yes! We supposed to meet at the book fair around 2PM. But out of a sudden, my aunt called and told me that is it okay if she wants to drop by our house, because she was in that area. I could say NO to her, but i didn't.

She has never been to our house before ever since we moved in. She wanted to see how we decorate and design our house just to get some advice and ideas for her new home. She really like what we did with our house, especially what K did for our guest room ;P [everyone seems to like it and amazed with that room. some of them could not believe that K did it himself. but yes! he did it all by himself.*so proud of him* took him 3 days to get it done.a lot of hard work and patient]

As we sitting and chit-chatting at the living hall, while her kids were playing FIFA12 with K, I told her that we’re going to the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale and meeting my cousin. She got excited about the book sale, but more excited on meeting my cousin and her Cubano husband [fyi, no one in my family ever meet my cousin and her husband yet since they came back from Cuba 3 weeks ago] . Then off we went at 2PM. We reached there quiet late. My cousin(Mira) can’t stay long, because they planned to hit Low Yatt afterward, to show how cool Low Yatt is to her Cubano husband (Yoyi). So yeah just managed to get a 15 minutes hi and bye and planned for another meet up which is on Sunday. [This is another story, i'll give you guys the teaser first before i update the full entry]

Thank you Danial and Tina for being sooooo kind helping us with the books! :)  They are actually pretty good you know. Boleh diharap. Kalau buku yang tak berapa bagus condition nya, diorang akan pergi dapat kan yang bagus punya. Kitorang tak suruh pon, diorang dengan rela hati nak buat. Love you guys!

Hari tu memang stroller Thaqif kegunaanya untuk letak buku-buku. Lupe pulak nak snap gambar sebelum bayar. Kesian stroller thaqif kene angkat buku berat2. Nasib baik tak patah ke ape ke :P

They provide trolley if you buy alot of books. Tak perlu susah payah pegi ke car park. They gave a pass so that you can bring your car to the hall. Easy to load all the books in you car.

So far i managed to get books that i wanted. Only a few i didnt get. Agak mencabar, sebab sebelah tangan pegang Thaqif, sebelah tangan lagi nak pilih buku, pastu pegang buku. Buku pulak semua yang berat2, lebih berat dari Thaqif. It's really a work out for me.

Ks'. I picked The Dads' Book and Grilling for him. Hehe.

Mine. I can't find Kabul Beauty School.I dont really like Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic, but it's dirt cheap! I bought them for my baby sis and a friend. And that Jamie Olivers' is only RM25!!!

Thaqifs'. Crazy about the Baby Einstein flash card for my Lil' Einstein!

That's all we managed to get. There's a lot more! Tapi time tu my aunt nak cepat nak ajak gi dinner. So agak kelam kabut sikit. Haih~ Lagipun total damage agak overbudget sikit. :P

To those who haven't get the chance to go, i say GO! It's really worth it. The cheapest book you can find is RM3 and the most expensive is RM60. Loco! I know. Don't miss out this event peeps. Kadang-kadang Yang Paling Mahal Tu Tak Semestinya Yang Paling Bagus Dan Menjadi Pilihan

Tajuk macam beriya-iya je kan? Padahal nak cerita pasal pacifier je. Haha..anak korang suke tak pacifier? Thaqif ni masa mula2 tak suka langsung. Sampai kene paksa lah. Itu pun die tak nak jugak, dia akan tolak dengan lidah dia. Umur 3 bulan time nak tido je die mau itu pun ikut mood. Sekarang 4 bulan lebih dah makin okay sikit dah. But still only masa nak tido je. Time lain kalau bagi pon tak sampai 2 minit mesti dia tolak balik dengan lidah.  Pastu memilih pacifier pulak tu. So far dia ade 4 in total.

1. Pigeon.
Favourite die ialah yang from Pigeon . Paling murah. Yang Mak die ni beriya-iya lah cari pacifier yang best2 sikit, tapi sorry lah,dia tak suke. Pigeon jugak pujaan dia. Pigeon ni K yang belikan masa I dalam pantang. Kirenya itu adalah first pacifier yang dia rasa. Itu jelah yg paling lama dia nak.

(second favourite) This one pun not bad, tapi mase beli die memang takde cover so kene lah simpan dalam bekas kecik.

Yng ni kitorang beli masa I tgh pregnant 8mths+, oso bought this one for Al-Farrel tapi Al pon tak suke kot,hik! Yang ni sekarang buat untuk tengok his body temperature je kot-kot demam. RM39.90

 

4. Tommee Tippee
Tommee Tippee die tak suke langsung. Dia buat main gigit-gigit macam teether je. Tapi yang ni lah yang paling Mama dia suka. Lol!

The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up.

My baby brother’s gf and my baby sister plan to get him a phone for his Convo + Advanced Birthday Present.So I chip in as well. The actual plan was to get him iPhone 3Gs. Because he wanted it so badly. But unfortunately, no more original 3Gs in Low Yatt or The Mines market. Semua re-con! Rasa macam tak worth it pulak nak beli. Bayar mahal-mahal dapat yang re-con punya je, serupa beli yang second hand tapi original kan? So survey punya survey, tengok2 Experia ARC from Sony Ericsson dan Samsung Galaxy Plus nampak macam menarik dan tertarik dan memang da bomb lah weh! Tetapi, disebabkan my brother lebih mementingkan kualiti gambar yang terhasil dari phone camera, so we think this is the best we can find and within our budget. So nice I tell yewwwww. I rase I pon macam nak beli satu untuk diri sendiri. Memang cantik! Function pun best. (it’s android for those who don’t know) Memang berbaloi-baloi and we got the best deal! Siap dapat hdmi cable lagi.

So to my baby brother (if you reading this), we hope you will enjoy this present! Happy Convocation and…umm I think its too early to wish you happy birthday. Save it for later…hihi.

p.s : No I’m not gonna get new phone for myself. Tunggu K beli iPhone5 lepas tu dia donate iPhone 3Gs dia kat i. Save duit, habis cerita.(malangnya iPhone4s je yang keluar). Tapi new handbag nak! :P

It starts this 7th Oct (Friday) - 16th October. I seriously can’t wait for this sale.

Last weekend belikan some books for 2y/o birthday boy kat BookXcess. Sebenarnya nak belikan untuk birthday boy saja tapiiiiii…………….. bila sampai sana tak tahan lah! Kene jugak beli kan untuk Thaqif, walaupun dah tau minggu depan ade BBW Sale. Nasib baik lah ade K. He reminded me. “Don’t buy too much sayang, minggu depan kan dah start BBW Sale. Borong kat sana je lah nanti” Me being me “ Ha’ah lah. Okay,okay. Tapi semua ni best dan murah2! Okay lah fara amik sikit je” . Hahaha…amik sikit pon 100 lebih jugak lah.

Tapi takpe puas hati. Lets hope buku-buku yang I beli tu takde mase BBW sale.Haha, nak cool kan diri sendiri. Padahal dah tau dah masa sale tu nanti sure ade buku2 dan memang kaw kaw murah. Takpe lah, buku punya pasal, tak payah lah berkira, lagipun untuk Thaqif punya education jugak.

Baked Macaroni cheese prawn+ chicken sausage.

Assalamualaikum wahai pembaca ’setia’. It’s been a while I didn’t discuss about hot topic ayte? Asyik pasal anak je. [tapi anak adalah topic yang sangat2 menarik bagi I sekarang]. I actually got loads of topics to discuss in here. Tapi bile pikir balik, takpelah. Lupekan saja. Dah tawar hati nak berblog sebenarnye. Susah bile kite menulis tentang sesuatu topic tu secara general, tapi ada sesetengah pihak ingat kita pin point kat dia. Padahalnya langsung tak. Semua topic yang di diskus adalah from my point of view, through my observation and experiences. I’m trying to be honest in my writing. If you disagree with what I wrote, you can always leave comment and tell the world about your point of view. That’s a healthy argument. But some peeps can't accept that.

Okay dah. Cukup pasal tu. Kang cakap lebih-lebih kang ade pulak yang salah tafsir pulak. Lagi susah.Sekarang mari kita masak Baked Macaroni cheese prawn+ chicken sausage. Senang je nak buat bende alah ni.

First macam biasa lah, kite rebus dulu macaroni ni bagi lembut, letak butter sikit bagi wangi and berkilat.

Letak tepi dulu.

Untuk kuah die, kite guna Prego Cream Cheese sauce. Tuang masuk dalam periuk lepas tu kacau-kacau. Masuk kan udang yang dah siap kopek kulit sekali. Lepas tu tabor sikit oregano bagi lagi wangi. ( ilove oregano. Kalau boleh masak nasi goreng atau telur dadar pon nak letak oregano)

Chicken sausage tu digoreng dulu. Goreng garing-garing. (tabur oregano sekali kalau suka)

Okay lepas sume tu dah siap, masukkan macaroni tu dalam apa-apa bentuk pan yang korang ada. Tak kisah lah janji dia tahan masuk dlm oven. Bagi macaroni tu rata. Lepas tu tuang kuah cream cheese yang ade udang tadi tu. Tuang kasi rata lah tau. Lepas tu tabur kan pulak chicken sausage. Last sekali letak lah cheese banyak atas sausage tu. Kalau nak layer kan cheese pon boleh. Tapi hari I buat tak layer sebab nak cepat, my lil Einstein moody hari tu. I used cheddar cheese, sebab takde stok parmesan and feta. Lepas tu tabur lah lagi oregano kat atas cheese tu. Hahaha, kan dah kate, I memang suka oregano, tak tipu.

Lepas tu masuk lah oven, 150 degree around 10mins – 15mins. Lepas tu you dengar bunyi TING! Dah boleh makan dah. Makan masa panas2 memang best! Kalau reheat dah tak umphhh sangat. Bismillah dulu takut nanti syaitan join korang makan sekali.

p.s : K cakap marvelous! Tak tau betul ke idak. Tapi die tambah banyak kali! Haha..ini recipe impromptu. First time try. Tibe-tibe haritu rase nak makan something cheesy and creamy.
